The following information is available, for anything else please call the club during office hours.

Club Hours

As the club is located in a residential area, under our Resource Consent we must abide by certain hours that the club can be accessible.

Court Bookings

Our booking system is based on a computerized booking system. Bookings can be made by phoning or emailing the Club Administrator during office hours, using the booking computer at the club or accessing the internet booking system from home or work.

Club Night

We run a club night for all Senior Members (no Juniors) from the 9th February through to mid November. This is most thursday nights unless a tournament or club champs is required to play on a thursday. Starting time is 7.00pm and we encourage all newer members to attend these to meet other members that may also be looking for hitting partners. If you are not a member we do allow potential members to come along as a visitor for up to 3 weeks before they commit themselves to joining the club. Visitors are required to sign in on the visitors book.

Junior Club morning is Sunday mornings from 4th March to the end of Term 3. Group coaching forms the basis of club morning and is from 9.15am - 10.15am. Junior club morning does not run on public holiday weekends or school holidays.

Meadowlands Multi Sports Facility

From August 2011 the Howick Squash Club entered a relationship with the Meadowlands Multi Sport facility. This meant that we were able to enhance our facility with extended bar/lounge, foyer area and access to an on-site Pro Shop. Although the clubs currently run as separate clubs in regards to the playing side the administration, maintenance etc are run by a partnership committee. We are able to offer a 25% discount off the subscriptions if you belong to both tennis and squash.

Payments

This provides all the information you need to know about making payments, using cards and other related information.

Squash Grading

An updated grading list will be available at squashnz on their IT Platform on a continuing basis. You will need to be registered with Squash NZ to enable you to view this or to obtain a grading. When entering tournaments etc, the latest grading list  will be used at the closing date of entries to determine your grade. Printed versions of the clubs players will still be published and is kept in a folder at the foyer of the club for quick reference..
